The Cruise of the Soul Cat

One of our PBG enrolled competitors is 70-years-young Phil Boyer of Ontario, Canada. A former telecommunications research engineer, logged by locatoweb, Phil has cruised his 18ft solar-electric home-made Soul Cat from Napanee along the Trent Severn Waterway. Phil was the first person to cruise the Rideau Canal on 100% solar electricity. Once returned, until next Spring, Soul Cat will be making a variety of cruises with friends on board so as to qualify for our competition. Well done, Mr Boyer!
