This December, a Silent Yachts 62 built in Fano, Italy, has been making her way from Gibraltar to Antigua via the Canaries, a distance of over 3,000 nautical miles. This is an historic voyage because the 62 will make the entire passage with 100% renewable energy. On December 8, the Silent Yachts 62 had her twin electric motors turned off, and the ship's captain, Capt. Jason Bell and a crew member took the plunge, in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. We applaud this Chosen Cruise!
