E-Ballerina 5th Edition!

A particular challenge for polyboatglobal.com’s fantail of electric cruises is the E-Ballerina, now in its 5th year and held during the Salone Nautico of Venice. Competitors choose their music then dance” their boats – in circles, slalom, figures-of-8, & . Organised by a municipal team led by Assonautica di Venezia, ten companies competed, representing Slovenia (E’dyn), France (Xtramarine), Spain (De Antonio Yachts), the Netherlands (Lumen Yachts), Estonia (Excelsior), and Italy (As Labruna, Nautica Feltrinelli, Belisama Yacht). The Dhamma Blue (Spain), the only hydrogen-powered boat at the Salone, did not compete although it took part in the round-the-island cruise. The winner was As Labruna from Puglia, southern Italy. She was “danced” by Massimo Labruna and their chosen music was The Beach Boys' Surfing USA!, which got everyone afloat and onshore dancing!
