For our Challenge, there are two types of Fishing Cruises. The first is literally to go for freshwater fish such as the bass. The traditional use of trolling electric motors to do just that is widely popular - thanks to manufacturers such as Minn Kota, Motor Guide, Garmin and Torqeedo. The second, far more recent, is to go fishing for plastic debris – “plishing” – bringing it back to the jetty in sack destined for recycling. This has become very popular in the Netherlands and Italy. Do however remember that, for both, you must carry more than 3 passenger – 3 fishermen or 3 plishermen. And you can add up to five of each of these cruises to your growing list.
