If you have not already done so, why not notch up three more cruises, by contacting a school or a summer camp near you to suggest taking the kids, and their teachers, out for an educative voyage to learn about the local freshwater fish, the river or lakeside flora, trees and fauna, birdsong etc. On another cruise, you might tell those same kids about events in history or notable riverside buildings. You can even organize a photo competition, using their smartphones. And if they have a music class, then they can bring along their instruments – drums and pipes etc – or their voices (choir) and you can notch up another cruise. Not forgetting a photo contest cruise using their smartphones!Of course, lifejackets are a MUST in all cases!
